I’m incredibly grateful and humbled to share that I’ve been recognized as one of the Best Portrait Photographers in Pittsburgh by Expertise again in 2025. This marks my seventh consecutive year receiving this recognition since 2019, and I’m truly honored to be included among such a talented group of photographers in this wonderful city.
This acknowledgment isn’t something I take lightly. It’s a reflection of not only my growth and dedication as a photographer but also the trust and support I’ve received from so many wonderful clients who’ve allowed me to document their lives. Without each of you, this wouldn’t be possible, and I’m truly thankful for the opportunity to be part of your stories.
Why Portrait Photography is So Meaningful to Me
Portrait photography has always been more than just a job for me—it’s a chance to connect with people and capture a piece of their journey. Whether it’s a family, a couple, or an individual, each portrait I take is a unique opportunity to celebrate and preserve something special. I’m always amazed by how much each session reveals about the person or people I’m photographing, and I do my best to honor that by creating timeless, authentic images.
Each moment I get to capture is precious, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be trusted with preserving those memories for you and your loved ones.

- Experience How long have they been working in the field, and do they have the expertise to handle newborn sessions?
- Availability Does the photographer maintain a flexible and approachable schedule?
- Engagement How well does the photographer connect with clients and engage with their needs?
To be named as one of the top portrait photographers year after year is something I do not take for granted. It reminds me of the responsibility I have to provide my clients with an experience that’s thoughtful, personal, and, above all, meaningful.
What This Award Means to Me
While receiving this recognition is a wonderful honor, it’s not just about the award itself. It’s about the incredible people I’ve had the chance to work with—the families, seniors, and couples who have trusted me with documenting their most special moments. I’m grateful for the relationships I’ve built and the opportunity to make meaningful connections with so many of you.
When I reflect on the first year I was recognized back in 2019, I realize how much I’ve learned and grown since then. Each portrait session has been a chance to improve my craft and deepen my understanding of the power of photography.
