I strive to make my clients feel at ease and confident during our time together. I love capturing portraits, but I also love photographing each aspect of what makes an individual uniquely beautiful: A senior girl picking flowers, a child snuggling with her parents, a business owner looking to update his/her profile/instagram images. An experience – that’s what I strive to provide my clients. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a high school senior, a family with a newborn or excited kiddos and a dog or two in need of timeless, heirloom portraits – I promise to give you a fun experience and timeless portraits.
I have been offering my services as a portrait and newborn photographer in the Pittsburgh area since 2001. Whether you are looking for a classic portrait with studio lighting, outdoor locations during golden hour or keepsake lifestyle images, I’m your photographer! It’s a blessing to have a career that allows me to express both my love for people and creativity.
As a Pittsburgh portrait photographer, I feel that it is very important to keep up with the trends. Clients benefit from my active participation in various photography workshops and classes. It is also exciting for me to be able to learn from other photographers. In my early career I was able to travel to Maine to attend in-person classes at the Maine Media Workshops. I studied film photography and printed portraits in the darkroom at the Burren College of Art in Ireland. While majoring in communications at Robert Morris University, I worked in the darkroom. These days, with a full house and schedule, I mostly stick around the Pittsburgh area to attend monthly entrepreneurial meetings, meet with my business coach and visit the Flourish Academny’s Camera Club. It’s funny, in college I wished I could have majored in being a professional student. Although that wasn’t an option, I regularly attend online classes!
As a Pittsburgh photographer one of my most exciting accomplishments is being included on Expertise’s 22 Best Portrait Photographers and Expertise’s 26 Best Newborn Photographers in Pittsburgh list for the past seven years in a row! Thank you so much Expertise!
