Michelin-Star Experience at Home: Pittsburgh’s Private Chef Frank

  • Post author:

As a photographer, I usually observe the magic of dining experiences from the sidelines. Recently, while capturing a 50th wedding anniversary celebration, the family and their private chef, Frank, warmly included me in the festivities. With years of experience honed from his grandmother’s kitchen, Chef Frank surprised me with an meticulously prepared meal. While I wouldn’t call myself a seafood enthusiast, his crab cakes were a revelation!

Artfully plated, they were a feast for the eyes even before the first bite. But it was the delicate balance of crab and lemon that truly surprised me. The crab cakes were followed by four more courses, including: gnocchi, tossed salad, chicken with broccoli and creme brûlée. It’s these unexpected joys and heartwarming gestures that can truly make a day unforgettable!
