Best Newborn Photographers in Pittsburgh
It’s an honor to share that Expertise has included me on the 2020 list of the best 21 newborn photographers in Pittsburgh, PA. Photographing newborns is one of my favorite types of sessions because capturing the first few moments in the early weeks of a newborn’s life is incredibly emotional and rewarding. I am excited to meet many more new bundles of joy this year!
Newborn Sessions
I have been offering my services as a photographer in the Pittsburgh area since 2001. I began specializing in newborns in 2015 after having my third child. You can chose between two types of newborn sessions: a posed newborn session occurs in my relaxing Mt. Lebanon home studio or we can meet in the comfort of your own home for an in-home lifestyle session. I am committed to making sure my customers have a wonderful experience. In addition to the actual shooting area, the studio also consists of living space with a sofa and several chairs. You have the option to either rest or watch your little one placed into adorable poses. Although I have photographed hundreds of newborn babies, I am always excited for each and every newborn session. It’s a blessing to have a career that allows me to express both my love for newborns and creativity.
Photography Education
As Pittsburgh newborn photographer, I feel that it is very important to keep up with the trends. Clients benefit from my active participation in various photography workshops and classes. It is also exciting for me to be able to learn from other photographers. In my early career I was able to travel to Maine to attend in-person classes at the Maine Media Workshops and at the Burren College of Art in Ireland. These days, with a full house and schedule, I mostly stick around the Pittsburgh area to attend monthly entrepreneurial meetings, meet with my business coach and visit the Flourish Academny’s Camera Club. It’s funny, in college I wished I could have majored in being a professional student. Although that wasn’t an option, I regularly attend online classes!
