Ella’s dresses are from Miele Moda and her headpiece is by Honeydrops Designs.

Anna, Ben and Ella Mares are featured in the current issue of Iconic Child Magazine! Our family loves planning vacations, trying international foods and exploring new places. My children are always happy to model for me. Whether we are at a cool location and plan to post their portraits on instagram or if I just need to do a quick light check before a portrait session in the studio.

I’m excited to formally introduce my three children to you.

Meet Anna

Bio: Lover of baking, writing, and painting. Anna dreams of living on the Isle of Iona, Scotland and working as an author and publisher. Anna loves photography and capturing nature in her art.

What makes our family unique?

My dad is from the Czech Republic, and has worked hard to incorporate his culture into our daily life. I grew up watching czech shows, and reading czech books. I was only three months old when I took my first international flight. My mom and dad have both instilled their love of travel and other cultures in me.

What is your favorite meal?

My favorite meal is fruit dumplings, preferably plum! I also love tea, and raspberry mocha’s. I love all fruit and salads.

Tell us three places that are on your bucket list.

I would love to travel to the Sahara dessert, the Himalayas, and Iceland.

Meet Benjamin

Bio: Ben is a calm, confident and loyal friend. He is full of creative ideas and those who know him best have the privilege of watching those ideas unfold through well thought out LEGO designs, Youtube video scripts and imaginative play with his little sister. Ben is also a hard working student and athlete.

What do you love about living in Pittsburgh?

Pittsburgh is great because I have a lot of family that lives here. I’ve made a lot of friends here too.

Tell us three places that are on your bucket list.

I would love to travel to the Grand Canyon, Brazil and Australia.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

When I grow up, I’d like to be an engineer or an architect.

Meet Ella

Bio: Passionate, fun-loving, and kind. Ella and her doll Tutu enjoy traveling the world and trying new foods, all the while documenting their adventures through their Instagram. Ella loves being the center of attention during her photo-shoots.

Tell us about your doll, Tutu.

Tutu and I went to Paris together. We play together everyday and we love having tea parties together. My friend, Lenna, made her for me when I was two years old.

What do you want to do when you grow up?

When I grow up, I would like to be a photographer, just like my mom!

Tell us three places that are on your bucket list.

Hmmm. I would like to go to St. Louis, see panda bears in China and eat pasta in Italy because pasta is my favorite food!

Laura I feel so privileged being your friend and neighbor. What a pleasure watching your children grow up. Not only are they beautiful on the outside but just as much on the inside. Congratulations on becoming such a good and successful photographer. I watched you work with my great grandson and enjoyed seeing how artfully and skilled you were taking the pictures.
