So, I collected some new trends I’ve been noticing on social media, in fashion magazines, and even out and about during the day!
1. Sage Green
One of my new favorite shades, sage green is so 2022! I recently painted my outdoor, vintage metal chairs sage green and I’m in love with them! Sage green reminds me of dewy spring mornings in may. Below, I’ve linked some of my favorite sage green finds from Nordstrom and Lulus!

2. Headscarfs
Headscarfs are practical and chic, and a great way to add some flair to your everyday hairstyle. From floral to bold patterns to plain pastels, the styles are endless! You can add them when your hair is down, in braids, or even in a bun.
3. Tiered Dresses
A tiered dress is flattering and comfortable with a softly shaped waist and trending tiers. A super flattering dress, it’s perfect for layering, adding statement pieces, or even by itself. I also love this dress because it’s perfect for twirling in!
4. Voluminous Sleeves
I’m not sure if you are major fans of Anne of Green Gables like I am, but boy does Anne loved puffed sleeves! Every time I enter a store or scroll through Pinterest and stumble upon a cute dress or blouse with giant sleeves, I think of this scene!
This new trend is a great way to diversify your closet’s textures and have an outfit that makes you feel like a princess.
5. Statement Blouses
Who says tops can’t break the ice? Consider finding a breezy, light hearted blouse that highlights your self-confidence. Blouses are great for studio and urban photo shoots if you want a more modern look. They pair nicely with black jeans and chunky boots for a grunge aesthetic.
6. Wide Leg Pants

Think high waisted, straight leg and just relaxed enough to fit beautifully creating a nice casual vibe. Jeans are a great statement piece to pair with a simple sweater or shirt. Flare jeans are great for boho and floral locations.
8. Chunky Flats
2022 is all about the texture, and I am loving it! Adding a little flare to your shoes shows off some personality and style all while retaining the comfort of flats! Different leathers, embroidered flowers, and woven jute are some fun and spunky styles to experiment with! Splurge a little and experiment with all the potential chunky flats have to offer.
9. Leather Slides
Slides are the new power shoes with leg-lengthening, versatility, comfort and style. The perfect go-to sandal for jeans and dresses.
